As you might imagine, I&#8217;m a LEEETLE tired.  And the web connection here is very slow.  We have made it to Punta Arenas, and I have laid eyes on the Nathaniel B. Palmer.  Tomorrow I&#8217;ll actually go aboard.  Also tomorrow at 10:00 a.m., I collect my extreme weather gear.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of which, the weather here is surprisingly mild tonight &#8212; just a little below freezing, and no wind to speak of, a good omen, perhaps.<\/p>\n<p>The name of our hotel?  <i>Finis Terrae<\/i>, Land&#8217;s End, or End of the Earth.
