Our Tech House of Cards
Do you ever get the feeling we’re living in a technological house of cards? That you spend most of your time trying to fix problems with your computer, your software, your satellite radio, your wireless doorbell, your digital camera, your iPod, your cell phone…and that all this is getting worse, not better?
You might notice that two weeks of posts for this blog have disappeared. No one seems to know where they’ve gone or how to get them back again. Things go off into the dark, never to return. It has ever been thus.
I, in my usual paranoid fashion, kept backups. So all is not lost. I’m hoping the tech wizards that be will find the missing files and restore them, which would be better than reposting stuff with the wrong dates on it. So stay tuned. The problem will be solved soon.
I have much to tell about what I learned in Monterey.
